About Me
Dr. Md. Abir Hossain received his Bachelor's degree in Information and Communication Technology (ICT) from Mawlana Bhashani Science and Technology University (MBSTU), Bangladesh, in 2011, and his Master’s degree from the Institute of Information and Communication Technology (IICT), Bangladesh University of Engineering and Technology (BUET), in 2017. He completed his doctoral (Ph.D.) degree at Waseda University in 2020.
He has been serving as a Professor since June 2025 in the Department of Information and Communication Technology (ICT) at Mawlana Bhashani Science and Technology University (MBSTU), Bangladesh. His research interests include 6G communication, 5G ultra-reliable and low-latency communication (URLLC), Machine Learning, Underwater Wireless Sensor Networks, and Wireless Sensor Networks.
