About Me
Bikash Kumar Paul received his B.Sc. and M.Sc. degrees in Engineering from the Department of Information and Communication Technology (ICT) at Mawlana Bhashani Science and Technology University (MBSTU), Tangail-1902, Bangladesh, in 2017 and 2019, respectively. He began his academic career as a faculty member in the Department of Computer Science and Engineering at Ranada Prasad Shaha University, Narayanganj. Subsequently, he served as a full-time lecturer in the Department of Software Engineering at Daffodil International University, Dhaka. After that, he was promoted to senior lecturer in the same department. In 2020, he returned to his Alma mater and joined as a lecturer in the Department of ICT and he is serving as an Assistant Professor till now.
His research interests encompass Computational Bioinformatics, Health Informatics, Data Science, Biosensors, Micro-structured photonic crystal fiber, and Terahertz technology. Paul has contributed extensively to the scientific community, authoring and co-authoring numerous international scientific papers and conference presentations. He is also an active reviewer for esteemed journals published by IEEE, Elsevier, Springer, Wiley, World Scientific, IET, OSA, SPIE, Hindawi, MDPI, and Frontiers, among others. Nonetheless, He has been an active member of the world's largest technical professional organization, the Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers (IEEE), since 2015 and is the founding vice chair of the IEEE MBSTU student branch.
